As a Student, I am not blessed with money to buy all of the top of
the line equipment I want. So I've complied a list of products I use for
cycling that don't break the bank and are quite good value for money. I
will add some more products as I expand this list, and if you have any
suggestions please don't hesitate to comment down below.
I use the Eken H9R instead of a GoPro, I wanted an onboard camera that was cheap, but would actually work at more than 15 frames per second. A lot of the time when buying a "Chinese GoPro", you can run the risk of being conned, especially if you go for a £15-20 option. I was fortunate enough to buy the Eken for £34.99 and it does provide 4K video at 25fps - albeit I have never used that function - I can safely say however that it provides 1080p footage for upto 3 hours at 30fps perfectly. It is well worth the £35 price tag and you could buy three for the price of the most modestly priced GoPro.

Now, I must admit this isn't the biggest of purchases, but Cycling socks can cost upwards of £10 per pair and if you are a student like myself, laundry can be expensive. So I decide to buy 5 or 6 pairs from eBay, Planet X or AliExpress in a variety of colours, which in the long run can save some money.
Ebay - £2.49 per pair click here
